One of the main purposes of this project is to
identify the various ways that Tropicana Diner has used their POS information
system Aldelo to improve their performance. We will also identify and recommend
various courses of action that will lead to improvements for the company in the
next couple of years. We will be applying Management Information Systems
concepts, skills and strategies in progression of completing this project. By
researching the business strategy for Tropicana Diner along with developing
recommendations and an analysis on various aspects that make up Tropicana
Diner.

located in Union, NJ and is a friendly, cozy, tropical island atmospheric
restaurant. Tropicana diner is a diner that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner
at any time of the day and is also open 24 hours seven days a week. Tropicana
offers a dine in options or you can call in an order to be picked up. Tropicana
also gives you the option to place your order online for what you would like to
eat. Tropicana also offers the option to place an order from your mobile device through an application. It is a fairly large sized diner with plenty of parking available for
guests. Guests can choose their meal from a wide selection of items on Tropicana's extensive menu options. Tropicana has a rewards program in place where customers register at checkout and order a total of $500 online to receive $20 off on their next order. Whether it is for breakfast, lunch or dinner, Tropicana serves customers on a daily basis with quality food and service!
